Thammasat University’s College of Engineering visited Tunghai University’s College of Engineering and signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) contract on March 6, 2014.
Thammasat University’s College of Engineering visited Tunghai University’s College of Engineering and signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) contract on March 6, 2014. Dr. Prapat Wangskarn ( the dean of Thammasat University’s College of Engineering) and Dr. Wang (the dean of Tunghai University’s College of Engineering) represented to sign the contract. In this way, both sides can have a better understanding about each other and share opinions through exchange visits and international cooperation projects.
During the visit, Dr. Wang who is the dean of the College of Engineering, introduces Tunghai University’s history, the reputation of being an international college, the characteristics of each department, and the future direction of development. Our department hopes to convey the idea of Liberal Arts Education throughout the world and have further academic exchanges through school-to-school cooperation.
Thammasat University was founded in 1934, located in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a big campus and it is the second oldest university in Thailand. It is famous for laws and politics, and there are also specific studies for China and Thailand. Most importantly, it is an outstanding school which ranks 317 in the world. Through the MOU contract, our department hopes to build close cooperative relationships with them in order to benefit the teachers and students of both sides.
